Overview

The 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Thoroughbred Stud Practice is ideal for learners who already have experience of working with stud equine and want to take on additional responsibility within the industry.

They will gain the skills and knowledge required to care for thoroughbreds through covering, pregnancy, and foaling.

This will ensure that they have the understanding required to develop their career in this area.

This qualification is supported by the BHA as the trade association and employers for horseracing in the UK.

Prepares learners to plan, deliver and evaluate sport and activity sessions within a community setting, with a focus on working with inactive participants
