Overview
The 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Horse Care and Management is ideal for learners who aspire to work with horses and already have some knowledge of how to care for them.
They will learn how to care for horses without constant supervision, ensuring that they have the knowledge required for some independent work.
This will provide a strong foundation for further learning or to progress into roles within stable staff.
This qualification is supported by the BHA as the trade association and employers for Horseracing in the UK.
Qualification Progression
Learners could progress on to the 1st4sport Level 3 Diploma in Work Based Racehorse Care and Management.
Achievement of this qualification will help learners to progress to the following job roles:
