Overview
The 1st4sport Entry Level Award in Catching and Leading, Grooming and Rugging up a Horse (Entry 3) is perfect for learners who are passionate about working with horses but have little previous experience in this area.
They will learn the basic skills and knowledge required to care for horses, and how to catch, lead, groom and rug up a horse under supervision, enabling them to grow their skills with appropriate support on hand to guide skill development and answer any questions.
This will also ensure that they have a key understanding of working in this area and are prepared for further training.
This qualification is supported by the BHA as the trade association and employers for horseracing in the UK.
