Overview
The 1st4sport Level 3 Award in Delivering Learning has been designed for anyone aspiring to teach or who is new to teaching in the further education and skills sector. Developed as an introduction to teaching qualification, it can be undertaken by people who are not currently in a teaching role. There is, however, a minimum requirement to take part in microteaching (preparing teaching candidates for the 'real world' of the classroom).
With this qualification, your learners will gain key knowledge about teaching/training in the further education and skills sector, including on inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.
Recognised by UK Coaching for tutors delivering Coach Education programmes, this qualification is an excellent starting point for a career in this industry.
Qualification Progression
Holders of this qualification can progress to the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, or the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or other higher level teaching qualifications depending upon the role and associated teaching responsibilities.
Learners are able to deliver coach education programmes, where applicable.
