The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rowing (Sliding) is ideal for learners interested in becoming a rowing coach.

They will learn how to plan, deliver, and evaluate linked and progressive coaching sessions independently, although they may work as part of a larger coaching team.

They will also build a key understanding of the practical and theoretical aspects of planning, delivering, and evaluating linked and progressive rowing sessions.

This pathway includes a unit on technical coaching requirements for sliding seat rowing.

This qualification is recognised as the industry standard Level 2 qualification for session coaches by UK Coaching and British Rowing. It is aligned to the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity professional standard for Coach.
