The 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Men's Rhythmic Gymnastics is ideal for learners who are passionate about gymnastics and want to build a career in this area.

They will learn how to lead gymnastics-based activities planned by a more qualified coach, ensuring that they gain key knowledge of how to plan, deliver and evaluate effective sessions.

This will prepare them for employment as a gymnastics coaching assistant, and for their future career pathway in gymnastics.

Ensures learners have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead rhythmic gymnastics-based activities planned by a more qualified coach and contribute to session evaluations

Qualification Progression

With this qualification, learners could consider completing the:

  • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rhythmic Gymnastics.
  • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching.

They could also consider other industry-relevant qualifications in:
  • coaching sport
  • physical activity
  • activity leadership
  • supporting PE in school sport and sports development
  • the leisure industry, such as activity leadership or fitness instructing.

This qualification may lead to paid or voluntary roles in gymnastics, such as a coaching assistant, or roles such as activity leader, sports official, or sports volunteer.
