Learners could progress on to the • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Multi-Skills Development in Sport • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Physical Activity and Sport within the School Environment • 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing The skills and knowledge developed through this qualification may also be used to progress to other industry-relevant qualifications in coaching sport, activity leadership, supporting PE in school sport or sports development.
This qualification may lead to paid or voluntary roles as a Coach Parker Group Exercise Instructor within commercial gyms, public leisure centres, private health and fitness clubs, educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities, and within outdoor settings such as community parks and outdoor spaces. The 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Coach Parker Group Exercise Instructor qualifies learners who are aged 18 and over to independently deliver Our Parks exercise classes and sessions. For learners under the age of 18, the 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Coach Parker Group Exercise Instructor enables these learners to deliver Our Parks exercise classes and sessions as part of a wider coaching team.
