Overview
The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Assisting the Rehabilitation of Racehorses is perfect for learners who are passionate about working with racehorses and are interested in specialising in rehabilitation.
They will gain the knowledge, confidence and skills required to provide rehabilitation opportunities for horses retiring from the racing industry for reasons including age, injury and form.
They will also gain the skills and knowledge required to assist with developing and delivering rehabilitation programmes.
This qualification is supported by the BHA as the trade association and employers for horseracing in the UK.
Qualification Progression
Learners will be able to progress onto the 1st4sport Level 3 Diploma in Work Based Racehorse Care and Management (Rehabilitation Pathway)
The 1st4sport Level 2 Certificate in Assisting with the Rehabilitation of Horses will allow learners to seek employment in a rehabilitation specific environment and/or role within an appropriate stabling environment.
