Ray Barker is an experienced lecturer and manager who has worked in the Sport, Leisure and Tourism industry. He has published a range of educational texts for Heinemann, drawing on his experience as a sports player, coach and organiser.

Bob Harris worked as a teacher for 26 years, starting out as a Physical Education School Teacher, and since 1984 as a lecturer in Sports Studies at Further Education Colleges. He has moderated for ISRM and AQA, and is now an external verifier for Edexcel for Sports Studies Courses at First and National Level.
