Developing the serve 10 and Under

This visual interactive resource explains the reasons why children find learning the serve difficult. It offers 'how to serve' drill progressions for children under 8, 9 and 10 years old. Progression drills are based around:

• rhythm and coordination
• balance
• overarm throwing
• technical progressions.

Teaching cards compliment the video clips to explain the key points around each clip. Simon Wheatley has written this resource for the LTA and is being delivered on all LTA coach courses as a module for player development.
