Suitable for students aged 13-plus. This (2004) DVD explains what binge drinking is, looks at the reasons for binge drinking and its effects and consequences, and suggests strategies for reducing alcohol consumption and drinking responsibly.

• Effects of alcohol - short-term physical effects (nausea, headaches and hangovers, loss of control and associated risks), long-term physical effects (damage to liver and brain, cancer risks), plus the often unintended antisocial behaviour, violence, accidents and injuries associated with alcohol
• Reasons for bingeing and alcohol addiction - influence from peers and development of binge drinking 'culture', drinking to feel more relaxed and confident, drinking becomes a habit, development of psychological dependency, characteristics of alcoholic addiction
• Associated risks and consequences - loss of control leading to accidents, injury and even death; social and emotional consequences; relationship breakdown
