Overview:
This book minimizes the time it takes to learn to ski. Step by step and at your own pace, you will acquire the knowledge and skills you need to ski safely, develop mental resolve, adapt to varying terrain, and act courteously on the slopes. It also dispels myths that discourage beginner skiers and helps you understand that almost anyone can learn to ski. Plus, the book shows you how to learn skiing basics in your front yard or a park - anywhere there is a 30-foot patch of snow with a slight incline, you will learn the fundamentals without ever visiting a resort or buying a lift ticket. | Contents:- 12 Steps to Alpine Skiing Success

Great ... for a beginning class and a good reference book for the improving recreational skier. Its format makes it a bit tough to stick in your parka pocket, but do stuff it in your luggage. It will be great to refer to by the evening fire. WAPHERD Journal
