Overview:
The measurement of fitness is an important part in the evaluation of training for most sports. The J.A.M. test is straightforward and can be used by all types of sports performers from games players to athletes, and from international sports people to individuals maintaining their own fitness. The person performing the test has to carry out a series of walk - jog - run shuttles (of varied distance) interspersed with a maximal 12 metre sprint bout approximately every 2 minutes. The test advances around a triangular circuit, with participants keeping in time with a series of audio signals. |
