Foreword
I have enjoyed many great moments in rugby league and my involvement with the sport has literally taken me to many different places around the world. As a result of my successes on the field, I would encourage anybody interested to get involved with this fantastic sport.
Understanding Rugby League will benefit anybody concerned with the game and will prove to be useful, whether you are just starting out in the game, or have been involved in rugby league for some time.
I believe that the development of skill is one of the most important aspects of being either a professional or amateur rugby league player. Understanding Rugby League removes any unnecessary and complicated terminology or jargon involved with the game, in order to aid reader understanding, and the advice and information covered is extremely useful and valuable. This makes the book an enjoyable read, as well as an important part of anybody's sporting library.
Understanding Rugby League will be a useful aid to coaches and players and will help everybody understand and appreciate what a tremendously exciting and rewarding sport rugby league is, both to watch and to participate in.
