De De Owens, EdD, is the teaching professional at Cog Hill Golf Club in Lemont, Illinois, and a member of Golf Digest's instructional staff. A former professional on the Ladies Professional Golf Association tour, she holds the LPGA Master Teacher ranking and was cited as their Teacher of the Year in 1978. In 1986, Dr Owens received the Joe Graffis Award from the National Golf Foundation for her 'outstanding contribution to golf education'. Dr Owens has also made presentations in the Netherlands and Switzerland for the European PGA. |
