Overview:
These interactive resources for 16+ education are the ideal tools for adding interest and a framework to teaching basic and key skills. Developed by experts in their field, all resources are mapped to the QCA standards and prepare students for the relevant key and basic skills qualifications.
Developed in partnership with FA Learning, the professionally-produced resources bring interest to what is often badged a rather tedious and dull subject. Set in the context of football, the student playing the role as a football fan, player or manager is presented with a number of football dilemmas to resolve via a series of tasks. Students complete all the answers within the workbook. Please note, a knowledge of football is not required to either teach or learn from these resources. Indeed all the tasks presented could be applied to any sport.
These resources enable students to complete a portfolio of work to submit for the relevant key skills qualification. The resources cover all elements of the three core key skills, namely:
§ Application of Number
§ Communication
§ ICT
Key Skills Level 2
Set in the context of a fantasy FA Cup campaign, each chapter cleverly incorporates a different Cup round where the student plays the role of Cup Manager. A CD is included, featuring task sheets that may be completed electronically. | Contents:- Introduction
