About the Author:

Dr Bradford N Strand earned his PhD in physical education from the University of New Mexico in 1988. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at the Utah State University. Dr Strand is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAPHERD) and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education.
